Business Strategy

Here at Norm, our group of highly trained architects and designers took part in a number of major projects throughout the Middle East, including office buildings, hospitality buildings, educational, commercial, cultural, civic, medical, governmental, and residential buildings.
Planning
While planning, we determine the goals, expectations, values and priorities of each project. Once these items are settled, we translate them into practical building solutions and guidelines. These can include size requirements, construction budgets, reviews of local zoning and buildings codes, as well as their impact on the project. At this stage, we prepare the schematic design and a general cost estimate. We also figure out if the client requires surveys, as-built drawings, soil tests, etc.
Design
Once planning is complete, the design phase begins. At this stage, we create accurate floor plans and translate them into elevations, sections, site plans and design drawings. We also consider final finishes, exact room sizes, and appliance and furniture locations to complete the overall design. Preliminary structural, mechanical and electrical layouts are also decided, along with accurate construction cost estimates. The design process ends with a complete set of drawings, ready for the building permit phase.

MASTER PLANNING & URBAN DESIGN
Norm has strong experience in Master planning and Urban Design across a broad range of project with different types & scales. We are committed to deliver urban spaces that enhance quality of life.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Norm designs the interior dynamics of built spaces to be welcoming, comfortable environments. Through the use of shadow and light, color and texture, green foliage, and furnishings and finishing, Norm shapes interior spaces into places you want to be in
CG & ANIMATION
Norm CG, additional cell was created to supply the market needs with a high level of marketing material that starts from branding development, 3D visualization ending with professional marketing animation and movies.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN
An in-house service is provided across an expert Structural, electrical & mechanical teams across independent entities with the intention of assuring the maximum coordination & management control.
ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN
Our engineers are involved early in the concept stage so that the MEP systems space issues & facility energy budgets are evaluated & integrated in the design. ——————————————————————————————————————–
CONTRACTS & TENDER MANAGEMENT
A dedicated in house team is experienced in contracts, bidding analysis, quantity surveys, specifications and bills of quantity preparation. ——————————————————————————————————————————
SITE SUPERVISION
We provide supervision and coordination throughout the entire construction phase until construction to ensure architectural works are done according to project specs and drawings. Besides Coordination between sub-cons, suppliers and workers.
